While having an interest in photography since early in my life, it wasen't until 2008 that the interest turned into a hobby.  I find  myself mostly taking photos at political events and rallys, for family & friends special moments (Senior Prom, Halloween Party, Graduations) and of my own family (sports, holidays, just because).  What started as a hobby in 2008 with a Point and Shoot and my first DSLR (Olympus E-500) has been a learning tool and adventure with every shoot.  I recently purhcased a new DSLR (Canon EOS 7D) which is a giant leap forward from the E-500 and starts the next chapter as a become an amature photographer.
